We are a comprehensive school in Minden, North Rhine-Westfalia. Minden is a city which is situated at the banks of the river Weser. There are about 1200 pupils at our school. They are between 11 and 20 years old and they visit grades 5 through 13.

After 10th grade they either finish their school education with one of the 3 different levels of qualifications of the "Sekundarstufe I" or they continue school for 3 more years and finish with the final highschool qualification (A-level), the German "Abitur".

Our school is a full-time school, that means we start school at 7:45 am and finish at 3:00 pm.

School exchange

We are interested in finding common interests and in cultural exchange.

Our school is a comprehensive school with about 1200 pupils at the age of 11 to 19. We offer canoeing in the sports area and we have a successful drama club of our own - the "Tucholsky-Bühne". Our students start learning English In grade 5. We are interested in a long term partnership with about 20 to 30 pupils (age 14 to 17) visiting your school and vice versa every year. An E-mail or mail contact or even a chat via Internet is intended for the younger pupils. Vocational aspects could be interesting for 17/18-year-old pupils of both schools.
